WebSuburb has created a fulfilling and profitable way for small businesses to get involved with their local communities. By sponsoring the website of a local not-for-profit organisation, your business is actively supporting the community that supports you.

As a small business ourselves, we understand that you need to see a return on your investment. We can measure the results of all sponsorship campaigns easily, and provide you with accurate information as to what offers are working best for you.

Measuring results

WebSuburb encourages sponsors to set up interactive communications that can be tracked and measured.

For example, a real-estate agent can elect to pay a commission to the not-for-profit organisation it sponsors for each sale resulting from a referral through the organisation’s website. The real-estate agent can encourage the organisation’s members to contact them directly via an SMS message, email, coupon or phone call initiated on the organisation’s website. Because these messages can be tracked, this is ideal for the agent/sponsor, i.e. they only pay for leads and they can measure the results themselves.

For these kinds of arrangements, the sponsor can also bid for the sponsorship, which means that they will pay a market-related price for the lead. For instance, if there are two plumbers in the Manly area, and Plumber A bids $5 per SMS (with a daily limit of $20) and Plumber B bids $4, the first 4 referrals for plumbers in Manly will go to Plumber A, and the referrals thereafter will go to Plumber B. Plumber B can elect to improve referrals by matching or outbidding Plumber A.

The sponsors also place their ads on the WebSuburb website. These ads will be displayed to all not-for-profit organisations that participate in the WebSuburb sponsorship program. As WebSuburb adds new clubs to the program, the sponsor will automatically enjoy increased exposure, so your business can also leverage the network of organisations already operating in the WebSuburb system.
